Pale water ripples gently beneath the hull of a white seaplane lifting off a shallow tropical lagoon. Sunlight falls through the clear surface, illuminating long blades of green seagrass swaying in the current below. Tiny suspended particles glitter like scattered diamonds in the water column, catching the fading daylight. In the distance, a faint orange and purple glow from a town on the horizon marks the turning of the season and the approach of evening. The aircraft's wingtip cuts a sharp line against the shimmering surface, leaving a trail of white foam that slowly dissipates into the calm blue. One droplet slides down the metal fuselage, catching the last light before falling back into the sea.
