Fine, white filaments stretch outward in chaotic strands, catching the soft golden light against the shadowed grey stone. Tiny bubbles rest on the creature's textured skin, while the surrounding reef surface displays jagged, porous formations typical of the Great Barrier Reef near Cairns. The threads float freely in the water column, creating a stark contrast between the delicate, ephemeral discharge and the heavy, immovable rock beneath.
