Late afternoon light floods a derelict lighthouse keeper room where fine sand has drifted across the floor, mixing with shards of shattered glass. Heavy overcast skies diffuse the tropical brightness, casting soft, even shadows that reveal the texture of crumbling plaster walls. A vine-choked corridor frames the view, with green tendrils pressing against the opening and hanging into the space. The debris lies scattered in chaotic patterns, highlighting the scale of abandonment. Sunlight catches the sharp edges of broken panes, creating small glints against the dull gray of the sand. A jagged piece of glass rests near the threshold, its edge aligned with a crack in the concrete floor.
