Sand and Glass in Körfez Lighthouse Ruin

Golden sunset light wraps around the exposed stone walls of a roofless chamber near Körfez. Fine sand drifts across the floor, filling the corners and burying the base of a crumbling pillar. Shards of shattered glass lie scattered among the sediment, catching the low angle of the sun. A thin layer of fog softens the distant horizon, blurring the line between the sea and sky.
