Bioluminescent Surf Glowing Along Belize Reef Edge

Silvery light reflects off the wet surface of a crescent bay where bioluminescent surf traces the jagged edge of a coral wall. The water glows with electric blue streaks, illuminating suspended particles that glitter like scattered diamonds throughout the water column. Beyond the breaking foam, deep blue water stretches into the distance, creating layers of depth that recede under a dark sky. The coral wall rises steeply from the surf, its rough texture visible where the glowing waves crash against it. Tiny bubbles catch the faint illumination, hovering momentarily before dissolving. The glow fades gradually into the darker water, leaving a sharp line of neon blue against the shadowed reef. A cluster of glowing plankton rests on the wet rock face near the waterline.
