Purple Urchins Orange Starfish Havana Tide Pool

Sunlight fractures into vertical shafts as it penetrates the exceptionally clear blue water of a Havana seagrass channel. Below the surface, a cluster of deep purple sea urchins rests against a bed of vibrant orange starfish, their spines and arms distinct against the sandy bottom. The water remains still enough to reveal the texture of the marine life, while slow-moving ripples distort the light beams above. Tall blades of seagrass sway gently in the current, framing the colorful creatures in the midday heat of the rainy season. The scene glows with a submerged luminosity, highlighting the sharp contrast between the dark purple spheres and the bright orange starfish. One shadow from a floating leaf falls across the sand near the edge of the pool.
