Tropical Fish Swirl Around Coral Head

Honeyed evening light falls through turquoise shallows near Belize City, illuminating a dense school of tropical fish swirling around a rugged coral head. The water holds exceptional clarity, allowing every scale and coral pore to register in sharp detail. Orange low-angle rays cut diagonally across the frame, highlighting the vibrant reds and yellows of the fish against the deep blue stillness of the surrounding depth. Slow-moving surface ripples distort the light slightly above, creating a gentle, rhythmic shimmer that dances across the fish scales. The coral structure rises from the sandy bottom, its rough, porous texture against the smooth, fluid motion of the schooling fish. A cluster of anemone tentacles sways gently at the base of the coral, anchored firmly in the clear, monsoon-season water.
