Moray Eel Through Sunken Ship Porthole

Bright afternoon sunlight penetrates exceptionally clear water to illuminate a circular steel porthole embedded in the hull of a submerged vessel. Inside the dark frame, a spotted moray eel extends its pale underbelly and patterned scales against the shadowed interior. The volcanic reef overhang beside the ship casts a soft, irregular shadow that breaks across the rusted metal and surrounding coral. Slow surface ripples distort the light into shifting patterns of gold and teal on the seabed. The foreground porthole rim appears sharp and textured with marine growth, while the eel's eye reflects the open water beyond. One grain of sand rests on the lower edge of the rusted iron.
