Hydroelectric Spillway Rainbow Mist Canyon Abu Dhabi

Bright tropical sunlight strikes the curved concrete lip of a massive hydroelectric spillway, shattering the rushing water into a fine, suspended mist. A vivid rainbow arcs through the white vapor, suspended against the deep blue sky. The concrete structure dominates the frame, its gray surface textured with water streaks and mineral deposits. Mist hangs heavy above the spillway, softening the sharp edges of the canyon walls below. The water crashes into the basin, creating a churning pool of foam. The rainbow's spectrum glows intensely where the sun hits the droplets, against the solid, monolithic gray of the infrastructure. One spray of water rests on the edge of the concrete lip, catching the light before falling.
