Midday sun strikes the concrete spillway toe, revealing sharp geometric lines against the chaotic white foam where water crashes into a pile of dark, angular boulders. The water churns violently, creating a thick layer of spray that rises vertically into the clear blue sky. Heat shimmer distorts the air just above the wet surfaces, making the stone edges appear to waver slightly. The autumn season shows in the scattered dry leaves caught in the foam and the golden-brown grass lining the concrete banks. From the high vantage point, the sheer scale of the engineering structure dominates the frame, contrasting the rigid gray infrastructure with the fluid motion of the release. at the edge rests on the white spray clinging to the rough texture of the largest boulder at the center.
