Wet concrete stretches across the frame beneath a cable-stayed bridge span in Virginia. A water tower base, scaled to impossible architectural proportions, dominates the foreground, its surface slick with rain and early winter mist. Utility lights cast a cool, electric glow against the darkening blue sky. Warning rails run along the edge, appearing tiny against the massive structure.
