Fireflies in Queensland Bamboo Grove Night

Tall, segmented bamboo stalks rise vertically against a starless black sky, their pale green surfaces illuminated by a soft, diffuse ground glow. Tiny points of amber and yellow light drift between the culms, marking the presence of fireflies in the humid air.
