Fireflies Synchronizing Under Desert Escarpment

A dark desert escarpment rises sharply against a star-filled sky, its wind-carved rock face catching a faint, cool celestial glow. Along the base of the cliff, a narrow creek bank hosts a dense cluster of fireflies pulsing in perfect unison. Their bioluminescent light appears as rhythmic bursts of soft yellow-green against the deep shadows of the dry scrub. The ground is scattered with pale pebbles and sparse, brittle grasses that bend slightly in the invisible wind. Above, the vast night sky dominates the upper frame, offering a stark contrast to the concentrated rhythm of the insects below. One bright star hangs directly over the brightest group of flashing lights, anchoring the scene in the cold, dry air of the United Arab Emirates.
