Copper Light Cascade Through Queensland Bamboo Forest in from a ridge above layered foothills in Queensland

Copper Light Cascade Through Queensland Bamboo Forest

by Victor Davila

Warm golden light spills over a ridge, illuminating a series of small waterfalls cascading down through a dense bamboo forest in Queensland. The copper-toned sky hangs perfectly clear above layered foothills that fade into the distance. Slender green stalks rise vertically, their surfaces catching the low sun and casting long, sharp shadows across the mossy ground. Water tumbles over smooth stones, creating white foam against the dark, wet earth. The turn of the season is visible in the mix of vibrant green leaves and patches of drying brown grass along the stream banks. Wind moves the tall bamboo, bending the culms in unison. At the edge of the frame, a single stone glistens with fresh moisture.
