Crowded River Ferry Crossing at Golden Hour

Rich amber sunlight floods the deck of a crowded river ferry as it cuts through the water near Qingdao during peak autumn. Passengers stand shoulder to shoulder, their wool coats and scarves hinting at the crisp season. Low ground fog pools in the shadows between the hull and the water, thick and white against the dark river. The boat's metal railings glow with warm reflections, while the distant shoreline blurs into a soft haze of orange and gray. Figures lean against the stern, facing the wake, their silhouettes sharp against the bright, churning foam. A wooden post near the bow holds a faded red rope, its fibers frayed by salt and wind.
