Steel-blue ambient light washes over a cracked concrete forecourt where three rusted fuel pumps stand silent beneath a broken stone archway. Thick autumn mist rests on the ground, softening the edges of fallen leaves scattered among the weeds pushing through the pavement fissures. The arch frames the scene, its weathered limestone blocks showing deep erosion marks from years of exposure. Faded paint peels from the pump handles, revealing layers of orange and grey rust beneath. Shadows stretch long across the ground as the sun dips below the horizon, casting a cool, uniform glow that highlights the texture of the moss growing on the arch's underside. One rusted sign hangs tilted, its metal frame groaning in the still air, while vines drape heavily over the pump nozzles.
