Amber Sunset Light on Canal Aqueduct Steel

Low amber light washes the structural steel of a canal aqueduct, casting long, sharp shadows across the dry land below. The perspective rises from the ground, showing the monumentality of the massive metal beams that span the frame. Below the elevated channel, a layer of floodwater reflects the fading sky, bordered by a concrete levee path where early autumn grasses stand dormant. The air above the transformers and hanging cables appears to shimmer with heat, distorting the distant horizon slightly. Heavy bolts and rivets catch the warm glow, highlighting the industrial texture of the steel against the soft, hazy sky. A final shadow stretches across the wet concrete edge.
