Twilight Overpass Above Wet Steel Freight Yard

Cooling twilight light washes the sweeping curves of a concrete overpass interchange in Sichuan, where early autumn air holds a thin layer of ground fog. Below, the freight yard reveals a dense grid of wet steel rails and parked freight cars, their surfaces reflecting the first glow of red signal lamps. Mist pools in the depressions between tracks, obscuring the ground while leaving the upper steel structures sharp against the dimming sky. Heavy rivets and weathered beams define the industrial texture, creating strong diagonal lines that guide the view toward the distant horizon. The scene rests on the contrast between the smooth, rising concrete and the jagged, rust-stained metal below. A final red light pulses steadily on a distant gantry, marking the boundary between the cooling air and the darkening steel.
