Stone Furniture and Spore Cloud in Thai Meadow
by Everett Soto
Tropical afternoon light floods a lush Thai meadow where wet-season grasses sway under a whipping wind. A massive puffball mushroom dominates the foreground, releasing a dense, swirling cloud of beige spores that catches the bright sunlight. To the right, a rustic wooden chair sits half-buried in the greenery, its legs and seat partially transformed into rough granite while the wood grain remains visible within the rock texture. The stone transition creates a sharp boundary between organic decay and mineral permanence. Behind the chair, wildflowers bloom in vibrant pinks and yellows, their stems bending sharply against the gusts. The horizon stretches wide, showing distant palm fronds swaying in unison with the wind. The spore cloud drifts over the stone-grain chair, merging the floating dust with the solid rock surface.
