Ghazni Attic Storm and Giant Mushrooms
Warm golden light floods a worn leather armchair positioned in a Ghazni attic, casting long, muted reflections across the dusty floor. Outside the window, a violent thunderstorm rages with dark clouds and streaks of rain. Inside, the impossible grows naturally: massive mushroom caps, each the size of an umbrella, cluster among ordinary household items. Their thick stems rise from the floorboards, their caps textured in earthy browns and ochres. The storm's grey violence contrasts with the chair's soft, sun-drenched hide. A small wooden stool sits beside the chair, partially obscured by a towering fungal stalk. The light catches the wet glass of the window, blurring the storm while keeping the interior details sharp. One gill structure on a mushroom cap reflects the golden sun, glowing like a lantern against the darkening sky.
