Stinkhorn Mushroom Cliff Edge Sylhet Autumn

Salt-crusted rock anchors a pale, emerging stinkhorn mushroom against the backdrop of a wind-whipped cliff edge near Sylhet. The fungal stalk rises from a ruptured, creamy egg casing, its surface textured with fine, wet ridges reflecting the low afternoon sun. Water spray glazes the surrounding stones in a shimmering sheen, catching the golden light of early autumn. Dry grasses bend sharply to the left, their tips frayed by the constant breeze. The composition strips away distractions, leaving only the stark contrast between the organic curve of the mushroom and the jagged, salt-sprayed geology. One droplet of saline water rests on the tip of a bent blade of grass at the bottom right corner.
