Sixgill Shark Silhouetted in Kenyan Night Waters

A sixgill shark glides through the deep sea canyon off the Kenyan coast, its dark form stark against a sweeping beam of lighthouse light. The water holds suspended particles that glitter like scattered stars within the illuminated column. Deep shadows swallow the canyon walls, leaving only the shark's silhouette visible against the glowing path. The beam cuts horizontally through the dark water, highlighting the texture of the shark's skin and the floating debris caught in its wake. The wet season brings a density to the water, making the light scatter into a luminous haze that fades quickly into the surrounding blackness. The shark moves with a slow, steady rhythm, its fins barely disturbing the water as it navigates the submerged passage.
