Leopard Seal Hunting Beneath Ice Shelf

Soft afternoon light falls through exceptionally clear water, illuminating a leopard seal gliding beneath a massive ice shelf. Kelp fronds sway gently beside a rocky shelf, their dark green blades against the pale ice above. The seal's spotted coat catches the luminous glow, its sleek body moving with slow precision. Surface ripples distort the light into shifting patterns on the seabed. Layers of depth recede into the distance, where the rocky shelf meets the ice wall. The water remains calm, holding the seal in a suspended moment of focused hunting. A shadow from a kelp frond falls across the seal's flank, marking the boundary between light and dark.
