Ribbon Eel Swaying in Reef Shadow Bali

Deep shadow pools beneath a jagged limestone reef ledge in the tropical shallows near Denpasar. A slender ribbon eel emerges from a dark hole in the vertical wall, its body striped in electric blue and yellow undulating gently in the current. The fish glows against the obsidian background, illuminated by a sharp rim of early morning light filtering from above. Water clarity is exceptional, revealing fine textures on the rough coral surface. Slow ripples on the water's surface create a rhythmic dance of light across the eel's scales.
