Freediver Descending Reef Wall at Dawn

Sunlight pierces the turquoise water from above, illuminating a vertical reef wall where a freediver glides downward. The diver wears a dark wetsuit and long fins, moving through a column of soft plankton haze that diffuses the first rays of the monsoon dawn. Coral textures in shades of brown and olive line the rock face beside the swimmer, while the open blue deepens in the background. Bubbles rise slowly past the diver's mask, and the water surface shimmers with a pale golden glow far above. A fine trail of suspended sediment rests on the diver's trailing hand.
