Pigeons Nesting in Crumbling Monsoon Bell Tower

Green moss rests on the eroded brickwork of a bell tower standing beside a tidal inlet near Hafizabad. Flakes of white snow drift through the air, settling on the dark feathers of pigeons nesting deep within the broken stone mechanism. Dappled sunlight falls through the canopy of surrounding trees, creating shifting patterns of bright yellow and deep shadow across the crumbling masonry. The low angle emphasizes the tower's height against the gray sky, while the wet ground reflects the falling snow. One pigeon shifts its weight on a jagged ledge, its wings brushing against a loose brick.
