A cluster of gray pigeons rests on the flat stone ledge of a historic building facade in Krakow, Poland. Their iridescent neck feathers catch the diffuse light from the overcast midday sky, creating subtle hints of green and purple. Below them, the rough texture of weathered sandstone blocks shows signs of age and erosion. One bird tilts its head, revealing a small brass bell attached to its leg.
