Below the decaying paint, vibrant green moss clings tightly, its individual blades glistening with fresh dew drops that refract the midday sun. The background remains soft and dark, suggesting quiet shadows in a corner of an indoor space. Jewel-like highlights sparkle on the wet moss tips, against the matte, dusty finish of the old paint. The composition centers the decaying texture, showing the physical struggle between the flaking coating and the living vegetation. A tiny shard of blue pigment rests precariously on a single moss blade.
