Sunlight falls through morning dew, illuminating a close-up of flaking white paint that curls away from a rough wooden surface. Beneath the peeling layers, the dark, swirling grain of the wood emerges with sharp definition. The wood rests directly on a crust of jagged, translucent salt crystals that line the rim of a pan. These crystals catch the low-angle dawn light, creating tiny, jewel-like reflections along their edges. The background remains a soft, out-of-focus blur of cool tones, keeping the focus strictly on the texture of the decay and the geometry of the salt. One curl of paint hangs precariously over a sharp salt shard, its edge glowing faintly against the shadowed wood below.
