Okinawan Musician on Belize Reef at Twilight

Soft twilight blue washes over a coral-stone porch where an Okinawan musician holds a sanshin instrument. The player sings with mouth open, framed by the dark, jagged edge of a volcanic reef overhang. Distant town lights glow faintly on the horizon, casting a warm, thin line against the cooling sky. Suspended particles glitter in the water column, catching the fading light in scattered points of silver and white. The porous texture of the coral stones contrasts with the smooth, dark wood of the instrument. One beam of reflected light hits the musician's shoulder, ending the view in a sharp highlight against the deepening water.
