Golden hour light floods a concrete sewage interceptor tunnel beneath a storm surge barrier in Eswatini. The massive cylindrical walls stretch into the distance, their rough gray surfaces and riveted seams rendered in stark black and white. Warm fog rests on the lower ground, softening the base of the structure while harsh work lights cast sharp, geometric shadows against the ceiling. In the exact center of the symmetrical composition, a single sphere glows with intense, impossible red saturation. The sphere rests on the wet floor, its color bleeding slightly onto the surrounding gray concrete. A reflection of the red light stretches across the damp surface, ending abruptly at the tunnel's edge.
