Leatherworker's Bench in Fez

The damp dusk settles over a narrow Fez alley, where rain slicks the limestone walls and reflects the warm, amber spill from an open workshop door. Inside, a leatherworker’s bench is cluttered with tools, dominated by a brass tea kettle steaming gently against the cool gray light. Beside it, a single calligraphy brush rests on a sheet of damp paper, its bristles dark with ink, while nearby, a pair of worn leather sandals sit by the threshold, their soles wet from the evening drizzle.
