Warm firelight tones bathe the rusted metal ribs of an abandoned observatory dome, its circular opening framed by a clear early winter sky. The structure sits beside a marked tidal survey transect in Banja Luka, where concrete markers and metal stakes line the ground in precise rows. Peeling white paint reveals layers of gray concrete beneath the decay. Shadows stretch long across the gravel, showing the symmetrical geometry of the dome's base. The open aperture reveals the deepening blue of twilight above, against the orange glow reflecting off the corroded interior walls. One metal hinge hangs loosely from the rim, catching the last direct rays of the sun.
