Giant Starfish on Mussel Reef in Dawn Light

Cold silver dawn light falls through the water, illuminating a massive starfish clinging to a rugged reef rock. The rock surface is densely encrusted with clusters of dark mussels, their shells creating a rough, textured mosaic against the pale stone. Tiny plankton particles float in the water, forming a soft haze that blurs the background beyond the ledge. The scene sits beneath a stone overhang in tropical shallows near Stone Town, where the water remains still and clear. The starfish's arms spread wide, gripping the uneven surface with visible suction cups. A fine line of light traces the edge of a single arm where it meets the dark mussel cluster.
