Giant Clam Vivid Mantle in Cebu Coral Shallows

Moonlight falls through clear blue water, illuminating a massive giant clam resting against a textured coral wall. The clam's mantle displays a spectrum of electric greens and deep violets, glowing softly in the low light. Tiny suspended particles float in the water column, catching the faint starlight to create a glittering field of suspended dust. The surrounding coral surface appears rough and pale, against the smooth, vibrant tissue of the shell. Cool season air is not visible, but the water clarity suggests a crisp, clear night. The clam's edge blends seamlessly into the rock, anchoring the organism in its shallow reef environment. One beam of reflected light traces the curve of the shell's rim.
