Frankincense Tree on Limestone Cliff Shore

Hard coastal glare flattens the white limestone cliff face, exposing rough, pitted textures where late spring shadows cut deep into crevices. A solitary tree anchors the left third of the frame, its roots gripping the sheer rock edge above the churning gray-green water. The sky stretches perfectly clear and pale blue, offering no clouds to soften the intense light hitting the scene. Below, the wave-cut shoreline reveals smooth, water-worn stone bands against the jagged upper cliff. Dark green foliage clusters tightly around the trunk, standing out against the bleached rock. One shadow falls sharply across the lower ledge, defining the steep drop to the sea.
