Moonlight Shimmering on Ocean Swells Near Bolhao

Hard coastal glare floods the rocky cliffside near Bolhao, casting sharp shadows against the rough limestone texture. The Atlantic Ocean stretches into the distance, where late summer haze softens the horizon line into a pale, milky band. Swells roll in rhythmic patterns, their crests catching the intense afternoon light to create a shimmering path of silver-white foam against the deep blue water. The water surface ripples with small, choppy waves, reflecting the harsh sky above. A thin layer of sea mist hovers just above the distant swell line, blurring the separation between sea and sky. The foreground rocks appear dry and bleached, against the wet, dark surfaces where the tide has recently receded.
