Silver Supermoon Waves British Columbia Winter Shore in along a dark shoreline with tidal glow in British Columbia

Silver Supermoon Waves British Columbia Winter Shore

by Erik Guerrero

Silver light from a massive supermoon spills across the dark ocean, turning breaking waves into frothy ribbons of mercury. Along the British Columbia shoreline, early winter mist clings low to the wet sand, diffusing the starlight into a soft, gray haze. A weathered driftwood log frames the left side of the view, its rough bark against the smooth, moving water. The tide glows faintly where it meets the rocks, reflecting the moon's intensity. Dark silhouettes of distant trees stand against the pale sky, their branches bare against the cold season. The water ripples with a rhythmic texture, catching the silver sheen before dissolving into the shadows of the night.
