Soft overcast light washes the reef flat in a cool, even glow just as dawn breaks near Stone Town. The water remains exceptionally clear, revealing the textured surface of the coral wall below. Tiny, rhythmic waves break gently, their crests glowing with a faint, electric blue bioluminescence that contrasts against the deep blue of the open ocean beyond. Slow-moving ripples distort the light across the wet, uneven coral surface. The scene holds a quiet, otherworldly stillness as the bioluminescent foam spreads over the rock. A thin line of glowing white foam rests along the jagged edge of the coral, marking the water's slow retreat.
