Yak Caravan Crossing Misty High Pass

Thick white mist rests on the ground, obscuring the valley floor while bright midmorning light breaks through the upper sky. A line of yaks with dark, shaggy coats moves diagonally across a rocky ridge, their breath visible as faint puffs in the cool air. Beside the lead animal stands a small stone cairn, a rough pile of gray and brown rocks marking the summit. The animals wear colorful woven saddles that contrast sharply with the muted grays of the stone and the pale fog. Early winter leaves the sparse grass brown and brittle under the hooves. The diagonal arrangement of the caravan creates clear upward movement against the soft, swirling mist that fills the lower frame. One red tassel hangs from the nearest yak's halter, fluttering slightly against the gray stone.
