Yak Caravan Night Descent Near Lhasa Summit

Dark silhouettes of yaks move steadily down a steep mountain pass beneath a heavy sky. A stone cairn stands to the left, draped in vibrant prayer flags that flutter against the night. Rim light traces the curved backs of the animals and the jagged edges of the flags, separating them from the deep shadow of the slope. Dramatic, textured clouds roll overhead, their undersides faintly illuminated by distant light sources. The ground is rough and uneven, scattered with loose scree and sparse, dormant grasses typical of the high-altitude turn of seasons. The caravan stretches into the darkness, a line of quiet movement against the vast, still landscape.
