Twilight filtering from above casts a rim light along the water's surface, illuminating suspended particles that glitter like scattered diamonds in the water column. The dark, mineral-rich current contrasts sharply with the surrounding seawater, creating a visible boundary between the two flows. Kelp fronds sway gently in the current, their green blades catching the faint ambient glow. The scene holds an otherworldly blue stillness, with the sedimentary river cutting a precise path through the shelf. Tiny bubbles rise from the sulfide flow, marking the edge where the dense current meets the lighter water.
