Indigo twilight blankets a steep chalk cliff capped with dry green vegetation, rising sharply above a deep blue sea. Below, layered foothills recede into the distance, their contours softened by the fading light. A distant town glows on the horizon, casting faint orange points against the darkening sky. The air holds a stillness that emphasizes the wind-carved texture of the cliff face. Every surface reflects the cool tones of the evening, from the rough stone to the calm water. at the edge is a sharp edge where the white chalk meets the darkening ocean, marking the boundary between land and sea.
