Layers of red, ochre, and grey earth rise in sharp, horizontal bands across the valley floor near Thủ Đức. The soft, overcast light flattens the harsh shadows, revealing the fine texture of eroded clay and silt. Dark, heavy clouds hang low above the undulating ridges, casting a muted grey tone over the vibrant soil colors. Patches of green vegetation rest on the steeper slopes, against the bare, water-worn channels that cut through the formation. The wide expanse of the badlands stretches toward the horizon, showing the scale of the geological strata. A small stream of muddy water meanders through the lower gullies, reflecting the pale sky.
