Malawi Badlands Silhouette Dappled Light

Ridges of striped earth rise in Malawi, their alternating bands of ochre and grey forming a rhythmic pattern against the sky. Early afternoon sun falls through overhead canopy leaves, casting a mosaic of bright spots and soft shadows across the undulating terrain. The foreground falls into deep silhouette, obscuring texture while highlighting the jagged outline of the eroded formations. A clear, pale blue sky stretches above, showing the vast, dry season openness. Dappled light dances across the slope, creating a patchwork of illumination that shifts from bright gold to cool charcoal. A distinct shadow from a leaf edge falls sharply across the nearest ridge line.
