A gelada monkey with a chest of red fur and grey coat sits perched on the jagged edge of a steep cliff. Below, the muddy waters of a tidal inlet churn under the heavy, low angle of golden hour light. The wind whips the monkey's fur and ripples the surface of the water, creating a texture of constant motion. Tall grasses at the cliff top bend sharply in the breeze, framing the animal within a natural archway of vegetation. The sky above holds a gradient of deep orange fading into pale blue, casting long shadows across the rough stone. The monkey's dark eyes reflect the fading sunlight, fixed on the water's edge. One tuft of grass rests against the rock face near the monkey's paw.
