Pale turquoise water churns violently where the concrete spillway meets a cluster of dark, angular boulders. Heavy release creates thick white foam that rests on the wet stone surfaces, contrasting sharply with the smooth, grey concrete walls rising on either side. The scene sits in deep shadow under a perfectly clear, starlit sky, illuminated only by the faint, diffuse glow of distant ground light. Turbulent currents swirl in deep pools below the froth, while the monsoon season leaves the surrounding earth saturated and dark.
