Gantry Crane Over Roaring Spillway in Twilight

Deep indigo twilight blankets the massive concrete spillway chute in Venezuela, where monsoon rains swell the water below. A heavy steel gantry crane sits motionless on its elevated track, its dark silhouette framed against the churning white foam of the rushing discharge. Wet concrete surfaces reflect the cool blue hour glow, while utility lights cast sharp, artificial pools of yellow onto the misty spray rising from the torrent. Ground fog pools in the lower crevices of the structure, thick and low, softening the base of the pillars. The water roars visibly, creating a chaotic texture of froth that contrasts with the rigid, industrial lines of the steel framework. One rivet on the crane's crossbeam glints faintly in the dim light near the top right corner.
