Frothing Spillway Water Over Boulders in Autumn

White foam churns violently where the spillway chute releases water against a cluster of massive, moss-draped boulders. The concrete structure curves downward from the top of the frame, directing the flow into the rocky basin below. Soft, diffused light from an overcast sky eliminates harsh shadows, revealing the wet, gray texture of the stone and the milky turbulence of the rushing water. Raindrops create small ripples on the surface of the churning pool, while a fine mist rises from the impact zone, catching the pale afternoon light. The scene shows the raw energy of the release against the solid, immovable weight of the natural rock formations. One spray of water arcs upward from the central impact point, catching the light before falling back into the white froth.
