Silhouetted Jellyfish South African Kelp Shelf

Soft, diffused light falls through the water column, illuminating suspended particles that glitter like scattered dust motes. A jellyfish drifts centrally, its translucent bell and trailing tentacles forming a dark silhouette against the brighter surface above. Surrounding the creature, thick stalks of kelp rise from the sandy shelf, their dark green fronds swaying gently. The water holds a cool, autumnal tone, with muted browns and grays dominating the background. Fine sediment floats in the current, catching the faint glow from above. The jellyfish hangs motionless in the mid-water, its delicate tentacles extending downward into the deeper, shadowed zone. One tendril touches a passing kelp frond.
